FAT?

wow do i feel FAT this morning.
i didn't do so well with eating this weekend, i find that on the weekends i don't do as well as during the week.
i didn't go to the gym this weekend either, i guess you could say that i made some pretty bad choices this weekend.
today is another day, i will not make the same bad choices as i did before.
well i'm off to walk the dog

And the survey says...

Alright. I went and found a scale yesterday. I seriously think that it's broken. There is no way that I weighed what the stupid thing said. (It almost got a damn good thrashing, let me tell you).

So apparently, I weigh about 230 lbs. That's horrible. I didn't realise I was that huge. Thankfully, I still have my Richard Simmons Tapes and DVD's to the rescue.

To date I've lost about two lbs, through the Richard Simmons DVD's. I'm happy. Now I'm down to 228. I've also cut out a lot of crap from my diet (like McDonalds) and eating more sensibly. I have killed the coke and replaced it with OJ and AJ and water.

Jen seems to think she can lose more lbs than me. I beg to differ. In fact, I bet her that if she lost 50 lbs, I'd send her $100. (That's $2 per lb out there for you budding mathematicians). I think my money is safe, but we'll have to see :) :)

I'm reading a book by Dr. Jillian McKeith, the host of the wildly popular television show You Are What You Eat that shows about twice a day on the W network. Check it out. It's about people like me and Jen trying to lose weight and how to eat healthy.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to get back to my carrot sticks!

255.4

Wow!
This morning I got up and weighed myself and it said 255.4.
I didn't beleive it, so I stepped on it again, 255.4!
thats another 1.8 pounds since yesterday.
I have lost a total now of 11.6 pounds, now only 105 left to go, but really who's counting?
Oh ya me. HeHe.
Ok more updates later on today.

Happy Valentines Day

So today was a good day for me.
Got up early and went to aquasize (even though I was exhausted cause I went last night)
I have eaten fairely well today, except for the 2 cupcakes that I had to celebrate valentines day.
I also went to my weekly weight watchers meeting and lost another 2.4 pounds (since starting with weightwatchers), which makes my total pounds lost since I started to lose weight a total of 9.2 pounds.
I step on the scale everyday and i seem to lose between 0.2 and 0.6 pounds, not that I'm complaining, cause really I'm not.
I am very excited, I am succeeding in my goal to become heathier everyday.
I was also very proud of myself today, I received some coupons in the mail for MaryBrowns, so of course I craved MaryBrowns.
I was going to stop on my way home from work, but thought it better, cause it wasn't worth it.
Yay another day is done.

A little about me, Jen

Well a little about me.
My name is Jen, and I live in Edmonton Alberta Canada.
I am 23 years old and married.
I am 5' 7" tall and my current weight as of today is 258.6 pounds.
I am a ETS (Edmonton Transit System) Transit Operaotr, aka a bus driver.
I have struggled with my weight all off my life, being overweight since the age of 10.
Now that I have a seditary job, I knew if I didn't do something to lose the weight, it would just pile on.
Scott and I have been friends now for about 6 years, we met online through an msn group.
I told him that I wanted to lose weight, and he challenged me to see who can lose the most weight.
And Scott your Richard Simmons' tapes are no match for my Weight Watcher's and aquafit classes with my grandma.
My inital weight on Jan 18/07 was 267.0 pounds, and as of Feb 12/07 it was 258.6.
I will be putting up daily blogs of my progress, including weekly weigh ins and monthly measurments and maybe even some pictures (if possible).
My goal is to lose approx 110 pounds, as i would like to be around the 145-155 pound weight, which is average for my height and age.
Well I will post a little later today or tomorrow with an update.
And Scott the challenge is on, bring it baby! hehe

Our Weight Loss Blog

Ok. Some of you out there in blogland might be asking "Why". It's simple. We challenged each other to see who could lose the most weight.

I'll be publishing to the blog and so will Jen when she gets a moment. You'll be able to read our daily posts about our weight loss routines, such as excersises and what we ate.
